Gearbox neutral switch, also called gear sensor. When the conventional transmission is in the P gear, the starter can be switched on and the engine can be started. Otherwise, if the transmission is engaged in any other gear, the control circuit of the starter will be disconnected by the neutral switch, thus avoiding accidents caused by the driver starting the engine due to gears without stepping on the clutch pedal. (When the gearbox is hand-in-one, the engine can be started when the transmission is in P and N gears)
